Out of towners coming to Helotes for a concert. First time coming to Boerne instead of our usual side trip of SA. Saw so many Reddit recommendations for Mary's as well as the cashier at Fickle Pickles recommending it. Amazing. Chef's kiss. All the stars. No notes. My Mexican wife was in heaven, and my gringo booty was loving my chilaquiles! They are my go-to, as I'm not a big fan of most meat.
Truly one of the best taco places.. if you have never been there before and you don't know where it is.. just look for the traffic. They have like 14 people just making breakfast tacos continually and constantly and still have them flying out the door. I've literally never been there and not seen a line. The order out counter is always packed. And there's a reason for it. The tacos are amazing. I particularly enjoy the chicken fajita taco.
WOW! So worth it! The tacos are big! You can get just about anything on the taco. They are fast too. I was surprised at the # of people they had making the taco orders. It was so busy when got there. But we placed an order right away and got our food about 3 minutes later! I went to the Boerne location. There is another location in Kerrville TX. A must try restaurant!
Mary’s breakfast Tacos are the best tacos I’ve ever had. They make their own tortillas from scratch, variety is amazing and MANY GLUTEN free, DAIRY free options. The only downfall is they are so crowded and busy I only get tacos to go rather than eat there. I call in my order, jump in the car and they’re ready when I get there. Prices are very reasonable compared to the fake tacos you get at the fast food restaurant drive through. I often order just their tortilla shells for my own homemade taco dinners.
The first time we went here the place was packed and for good reason too! These tacos are some of the best tacos I’ve ever had! They’re super fresh, fast and friendly! I wish there was one everywhere I went! It’s so good even, we got some more before we left town the next day! 100/10 definite must if you’re in the San Antonio/Boerne area! Would add photos but we couldn’t wait!
This place is definitely A MUST if you’re in Boerne, TX! There’s a long line that forms due to the amazing quality and quantity of food; however, the wait is not long! Absolutely super delicious food and the flour tortillas are some of The Best I have had! Friendly and professional staff make the ambience rise above what one would expect! Super awesome! Super Delicious! I will be back!
Holy moly! This place lived up to the hype. Saw it on the DayTrippers series and decided we’d check it out while in town. It did not disappoint. They were crazy busy but we got to order quickly and our food came up quickly too. I’d never had huevos rancheros yet somehow and gave it a try. OH MY! It was delicious. Best breakfast I’d ever had. Partner got breakfast tacos - simple flavored ones it seemed- but he said they were amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND and don’t be scared off by the line. Evidently, word is out about how good their food is.
